Disgraced former PAP MP for Bukit Batok SMC, David Ong, has apologised to residents in the estate a month after resigning from his post.

However, Ong remains coy about the reasons for his resignation.

In this letter to residents, he continued to hide behind the “personal indiscretions” stance that he has adopted since his resignation on 12 March this year.

This time, he explained that he made a “serious error of judgment in his personal life”.

The passionate botak is widely believed to have had an extra-marital affair with grassroots volunteer, Wendy Lim.

This affair allegedly happened on the campaign trail for GE2015, and Lim’s husband and children have been seen to support Ong during his bid to become Bukit Batok MP.

A by-election will be called in Bukit Batok SMC, though a date for the polls has yet to be announced.

The SDP’s Chee Soon Juan and the PAP’s Murali Pillai are the only two contenders who have thrown their hat in the ring.

We don’t need your apologise letter, we just need the by election to be held ASAP!
