British expatriate George Palin has been jailed for 3 weeks for road rage. He was found guilty of smashing the side window of a car in November last year.

The 33-year-old regional director of a recruitment was riding on a motorcycle along Tanjong Katong Road when a car overtook him. The car was driven by legal officer Chiang Pak Chien. Palin drove up beside the car and window on the driver’s side twice. After Chang pulled over to call the police, Palin marched up to the car and punched the window again, breaking it. He then fled the scene.

Palin is currently out on bail, and is appealing the sentence.
