Another horrifying lift accident, this time in Bukit Batok.

68-year-old aunty Mdm Lai was taking Lift A at Block 285 Bukit Batok St 3 when she injured herself due to a lift malfunction.

The lift doors opened at the ground floor, but the lift had stopped about 30cm above ground level.

Mdm Lai was on the way to the market.

She didn’t notice the gap and stepped out of the lift, only to fall down.

She used her arms to break her fall, and ended up fracturing both her wrists.

The incident took place on 9 July, at about 9am.

This incident brings to mind the lift malfunction which winded up killing an elderly wheelchair-bound uncle in May this year.

He fell and fractured his skull when exiting the lift because it had stopped about 25cm above ground level.

Other horror incidents that have recently taken place include lifts shooting upwards at great speed, with one incident leading to an aunty fracturing her spine.

Indian MP took over Batok, guess bad lucks coming in fast.

More indian roaches, more bad lucks to the land. Stop giving them jobs, places to house them, and food to feed them. Wake up people.
