Cleaner Uncle Found Dead at Changi Airport T1 with Belt around His Neck


A 60-year-old cleaner uncle was found dead at Changi Airport Terminal 1 on Tuesday (27 Feb).

His body was discovered at about 8.50am at the staircase landing of the T1 carpark, between the 3rd and 4th floor.

The cleaner uncle was found with a belt around his neck, with the belt ends secured to the staircase railing.

There were cut marks on his neck, and blood spatters on the floor around him.

His death is believed to be a suicide.

Police have confirmed the case and investigations are in progress.
