Not exactly the reaction Jeffrey Pay was expecting, we think.

After calling the police on Yishun Secondary School students who bullied his daughter and posting a photo online of the police car at the school yesterday, he has been at the receiving end of taunts and other unsavoury comments.

What happened, in a nutshell is this:

Pay claimed that his daughter had been enduring cyber-bullying for past 9 months and the bullies were Yishun Secondary School students.

Then, Pay said that the latest bully, a school prefect and a leader in the school’s National Cadet Corp, verbally abused his daughter but was let off because he’s a student leader.

Pay got mad when after complaining to the MOE, he received a reply that the school would handle the bullying claims.

Pay then called the police on the bullies.

And then, the flaming:

But Pay isn’t taking all this lying down:

Was calling the police an over-reaction?

What’s your thoughts?
