Disruptions on Both Circle Line and North-South Line during Peak Hour

Service disruptions on the Circle Line yesterday caused delays of up to 10 minutes per ride.

This morning, train service on the same line was yet again disrupted due to a signalling fault.

Peak hour commuters complained of delays and stalled trains between 7am to 9am.

Commuters on the North-South Line were also frustrated, after a track fault caused congestion and significantly slower delays.

Some commuters said it took an hour to across 4 stations.

That service disruption took place at around 6am, and normal service resumed about 3 hours later.

The delay was a big worry for Singapore Polytechnic students who were rushing to sit for exams.

Lucky for them, the school said it would push back exam start times by 15 minutes.
