The Tanjong Katong Primary School student was amongst those climbing Mount Kinabalu when the 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck on Friday.
Emyr is now warded at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where he can barely sleep.
Still, he’s in a state of shock, after watching tragedy befall his friends.
“By closing my eyes, I keep seeing what I saw. It’s so shocking and I cannot believe it.”
His father, Sadri Farick says the pictures painted by his son are horrific.
“I don’t think I would like to describe.”
