“I was shopping with my girlfriends and went to the changing room to try on a skirt. When I bent forward to pull it on, I saw from the gap between the changing rooms that someone next door was holding his handphone with its lens tilted to face me. I didn’t know what to do, and panicked. I quickly put on my shorts, but the person seemed to have noticed that I had caught on and left the changing room. I went out and cried to my girlfriends.”

Lydia believes she was a victim of a changing room voyeur. She said that she didn’t pursue the matter as she was shaken at the time and couldn’t believe that such “perverted acts” were taking place in Singapore, a “next-to-crimeless city” country.

Lydia’s modesty might have been outraged, but what’s scarier is, videos of hundreds of girls like in states of undress could be floating around online, some even being sold for a tidy profit to feed the fetish of voyeurs.

The blog also claims to have a “back-up blog”, in the event that it gets shut down.

Some are shared freely, while other “exclusive content” are either traded or sold.

Girls in secondary school and JC uniforms have been seen in some of these videos, and they appear to be more highly-prized by “collectors”.
