4 persons were injured after a rogue Mercedes-Benz went on a rampage yesterday.

At about 6.30pm, the Mercedes driver mounted a divier along Tanjong Pagar Road and hit 4 persons waiting to cross the street.

The 4 victims – 3 men and 1 woman – were sent to hospital.

The injuries range from spinal cord injury to a fractured nose, to abrasions and lacerations.

41-year-old Lim Kwong Fei was charged in court this morning for driving under the influence of alcohol.

He is accused of drink-driving during the time of the incident, which saw him hitting the 4 victims who were standing on the centre road divider, then driving against the flow of traffic until his car hit a lorry at Keppel Road.

Lim is now out on bail and will be back in court of 18 Jan 2018.
