Three 5-room resale HDB flats in Commonwealth Drive and Holland Village have been sold for over S$1 million.
Two of the units are at Block 50 Commonwealth Drive. The flats sold for S$1.035m in October and S$1.028m in August respectively.
The third unit is a 36th floor unit at Block 18D Holland Drive, which sold for S$1.03m in July.
The buyers of the Holland Drive flat, which is near to Holland Village, are a young couple in their 20s who had purchased their first home.
These are the highest prices for HDB flats recorded in 2017, besides those from the Pinnacle@Duxton.
Last year, a Pinnacle @ Duxton HDB flat that sold for S$1.12m broke the HDB resale record in 2016.
A 5-room resale flat at Clementi Towers, which is integrated with a mall and bus interchange, also raised eyebrows when it was sold for $1,005,000 last year.
The recent transactions recorded in 2017 come despite statistics showing a decline in the resale price index of HDB flats.
HDB data states that the latest quarter of this year saw the steepest drop since the start of 2015.
