Singtel customers have complained that they could see personal data of other customers when they tried logging in to their My Singtel app.
Some users who logged in got a shock to find their personal details were different, only to realise that there was some error with the app (pictured above).
Complaints started streaming in at around 8 pm yesterday.
Singtel says that this is an isolated incident, and that the personal details of “one customer” was published in error on the app.
But software glitch aside, other Singtel users have complained about a data spike, which could potential result in them paying extra data costs.
Others worry that there’s more to the breach than just that one customer, and that their personal data could have been leaked as well.
