Words of consolation and support have come streaming in online for Ms Syazwani Jaffari, who was allegedly racially abused by an ang moh man at Tanah Merah MRT station.

Syazwani says that she was waiting for the train when the ang moh screamed an expletive at her and commented on how much he hated Islam.

During the attack, she said that no one around her intervened.

“No one did. No one,” she said on Twitter, in reply to concerned netizens.

The 21-year-old was so distressed by the incident, which left her in tears later on.

The online community has banded together to offer Syazwani their support after her tweet.

This attack comes in the wake of last weekend’s massacre in Paris, where ISIS terrorists gunned down civilians in cold blood across multiple locations in the city.

More than 100 people were killed and about 400 others injured.
