Police Charge Man for Threatening to Shoot Gays

Not a dollar for every gay shot lah, we mean “charge” as in criminal charges.

Bryan Lim, who threatened to shoot lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transexuals on social media has been charged for promoting violence against the LGBT community in Singapore.

Police have seized his computers and handphone for investigations.

All this, because he couldn’t’ keep his mouth shut on Facebook.

Lim had said in an anti-LGBT group that he wanted to open fire on LGBTs.

Those comments spurred a flurry of police reports against him for inciting violence.

Lim later said claimed that his words were taken out of context, and he really meant that he wanted to debate with them.

Lim is now out on bail and is staring at a jail term of up to 5 years, a fine, or both if found guilty.
