The check was done by anti-vice officers, who stopped her along Stamford Road at about 3pm on Tuesday.
The woman offered the 3 officers money to let her go but they stood firm against her advances.
She persisted despite being warned by them that bribery is a serious offence.
The case has been referred to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau for investigation.
The 3 police officers involved are Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Chan Wai Hoong, Station Inspector (SI) Ng Bak Guan and Corporal Ruby Yau from Central Division.
