Security Guard Flung Out of Private-Hire Car He Boarded with Vietnamese Woman

31-year-old security guard Mr Wong is now warded in Singapore General Hospital in critical condition.

His brother said that he has undergone 2 head operations and is now placed on a respirator.

This, after he was flung out of a private-hire car that he had boarded with a Vietnamese woman this today at around 6.50am.

According to his brother, Wong boarded the private-hire car with the Vietnamese woman who he believes is also a security guard.

Wong was working as a security guard for a store in the Telok Blangah area and had just finished night shift.

The two boarded the private-hire car and minutes later, while it was still cruising along Telok Blangah Road near the Sentosa Gateway, Wong got flung out.

The circumstances leading to him falling out of the car are unclear.

The private-hire car driver stopped to help Wong and called for an ambulance.

Wong was subsequently sent to hospital.

The case is being investigated.

Two months ago, a man was killed after he jumped out of a moving taxi along Bedok Reservoir Road.

At the time, he was reportedly with a female colleague in the cab.
