AsiaOne, which has been around for about 20 years, had just undergone a revamp to its brand.
It was, in a recent YouGov poll, ranked by millennials as the most-improved brand.
The closure of AsiaOne comes on the back of sackings and retrenchments – SPH will be culling 230 jobs by the end of this year, as part of its 10 percent reduction of its workforce.
So far, the firm has culled 130 staff.
The AsiaOne team of about 10 staff will reportedly be re-deployed to the Straits Times Digital Team.
