Technical difficulties delayed another Scoot flight yesterday for 29 hours – the second Scoot flight delay in the past 2 days.

Flight TR869 was scheduled to leave from Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport for Singapore on Monday (26 Nov) at 4.25pm.

However, the flight was re-timed to 10.10pm on Tuesday (27 Nov) due to technical difficulties.

Said Scoot:

“Engineers immediately began rectification works, but in view of the expected time required, a decision was made to ground the aircraft instead.”

This comes after disruption to another Scoot flight on Sunday (25 Nov), which saw flight TR616 delayed for close to 7 hours due to a technical issue with the aircraft nose gear door of the plane.

Passengers headed to Bangkok at 5.30pm were transferred to a replacement aircraft and left stranded at Changi Airport until 12.28am the next morning when the plane finally took off.
