Teen who was Supposed to Collect N Level Results Found Dead at Foot of HDB Flat

“I’m already 16 years old. You’ve raised me for 16 years. I don’t blame you. Don’t worry about me.”

That was what Liu Wenjie wrote in a parting letter to his parents, in what’s believed to be a suicide note.

The 16-year-old Greendale Secondary School student was found dead at the foot of Block 298C Compassvale Crescent today at about 4.45am.

He was supposed to collect his ‘N’ Level results today.

Earlier, he had told his elder brother he was going out to “watch a movie”.

While his elder brother found it strange that he was going to see a show at such a later hour, he didn’t stop him.

Liu’s parents say they didn’t put too much pressure on their son, and were satisfied so long as he passed his exams.

His death was unexpected as he was slated to start his holiday job in 3 days time.

Police are investigating the incident.

Well, the high cost of living got to him.

What you could buy for a small HDB flat in Singapore can afford you a nice house in America or Australia.

Rip, he shouldn’t have stressed out too much…., if he couldn’t socialize well i can understand, but suicide is really no excuse, he could have had a bright future ahead of him even though IF his results weren’t the best, not all the best people had the best results in their teenage years.
