A Facebook post on working out, meant to honour late prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, has left Pasir Ris-Punggol MP Teo Ser Luck trying to work things out with netizens.

Teo’s post earned the wrath of netizens, who criticised him for being insensitive at a time when the nation is in mourning.

Some also said he had much work to do, to live up to the high standards set by Mr Lee.

To his credit, Teo, who is Minister of State for Trade and Industry, did respond to his critics.
