The perpetrator of yesterday’s bank robbery at Standard Chartered bank in Holland Village is suspected to be an ang moh man who was wearing a grey hoodie and mustard pants.

The ang moh is believed to have been unarmed when he performed the robbery.

He made off with S$30,000 and gave everyone the slip.

Police are still searching for him and no identity has been revealed to the public yet.

Score 1 for this ang moh bank robber.

Before him, local Malay chap Ismail Shaikh Ahmad tried to rob a United Overseas Bank  outlet in City Plaza in 2008.

He made off with a big fat zero-dollar paycheque.

Dressed as a woman, the 45-year-old told the bank teller he had a “bomb” in a paper bag and demanded money.

Bank staff restrained him and it was wig off and handcuffs on.

Back in 2004, Indonesian Brian Khoo tried to rob a Maybank outlet at Bukit Timah.

He even held a customer hostage at gunpoint.

Problem is, it was a toy gun and Maybank had a sharpshooter security guard.

The Cisco officer shot Khoo twice and that was the end of him.

To think yesterday’s ang moh didn’t need any of thatm or even a Batmobile.
