Some drivers who parked their car at the multi-storey carpark at Block 430 Yishun St 11 got a rude shock to find their car windshields smashed.

Apparently, a looter was aiming for the cashcards, as the cracked portions of the windshield were all found just above the position of the In-Vehicle Unit.

According to Ame Mas Blueyeagle, who shared the above photo online, the incident took place last Wednesday.

“About 8 to 12 cars windscreen was smashed. Looks like cashcard theft. Please stay vigilant guys.”

Police have since arrested a 50-year-old Chinese man believed to be responsible for the destroy-and-steal acts.
