Once 1st place in Bloomberg’s Covid Resilience Ranking, Singapore has now dropped to No. 39 on the list.
The 20-place dropped took place over the past month as infections spiked, reaching a peak of over 5000 daily cases just yesterday.
Over 300 people have died from Covid-19, with most of the deaths coming in the past month.

Especially since Singapore has among the highest vaccination rate in the world, with over 80 percent of the population vaccinated.
The government has taken much heat for announcing that delegates for the upcoming Bloomberg New Economy Forum will be allowed to dine in groups of five people.
Currently, dining out in the country is restricted to groups of two.
