Burning in Vietnam and Cambodia Cause Haze Levels Here to Creep Up to Unhealthy Range

You might have noticed a burning smell in the air this past week.

Last night, the 3-hr PSI hit levels of close to 90 – 10 below the unhealthy range.

Yes, the haze is back, only this time it isn’t Indonesia that’s throwing smoke bombs.

Scattered hotpots were detected over Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia by the Meteorological Services Singapore.

The NEA says that the haze could be due to localised fires, or forest and peat fires in the region.
