Taking a leaf out of the Ministry of Finance’s books, the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has also engaged super hot influencers to promote a cause.
But hor, it looks like their budget cannot compare lah (because we don’t see many hotties. Why don’t we see many hotties, MEWR?)
While the Finance Ministry hired some 50 influencers to promote #SGBudget2019, the MEWR managed to cobble together S$1500 (that’s less than our combined alcohol expenditure every month leh!) to pay 28 micro-influencers to promote #ClimateActionSG.
“Micro”, because such influencers have a reach of (and we’re being modest here) about 1000 to 100,000 on social media.
Anyway, we’ll leave you with some of the MEWR hotties, and the “not”-ties (if you can’t figure out which is which, you should devote more time to saving the planet and less time time to kua chio bu).
And, some of the “Not-ties” (there, we’ve spelt it out for your benefit).
