CPF Basic Healthcare Sum Raised by 4.7 Percent from Next Year

The Basic Healthcare Sum will be raised to S$66,000 from 1 Jan next year for those who are aged 65 years old and below.

That’s a 4.7 percent increase from the current S$63,000.

Those who are 66 years old and above will see no changes to their Basic Healthcare Sum.

The Basic Healthcare sum is the estimated savings required to be set aside for subsidised basic healthcare expenses.

It is adjusted annually for members who are below 65 years old to keep pace with the growth in use of MediSave.
