KEPPEL SHIPYARD IN HOT SOUP OVER UNPAID WAGES?

Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower is probing Keppel Shipyard, after allegations that its sub-contractors owe workers wages.

120 shipyard workers say they haven’t been paid wages of up to 3 1/2 months. They went on strike last month.

The workers were hired by subcontractors of Keppel Shipyard, which is a subsidiary of Keppel Corporation Ltd.
