JENSEN: Hi, want to highlight this because I think it’s crossing the line. Someone on Gumtree (a local ad post website) is selling tickets to the National Day Parade for S$250. Wah piang I mean if you don’t want to go fair enough lah, but need to jack up the price by so much ah? At least sell the tickets at a reasonable price so that Singaporeans who really want to watch the parade live but can’t get tickets can get the chance to.
It’s damn shameful that our own people are profiteering from the NDP at other Singaporeans’ expense. Don’t want to go, ballot for tickets for what? This event is supposed to bring the nation together, but this kind of actions just worsen rich-poor divide here. The poster should be ashamed of himself.
