A 71-year-old ah ma fell from an overhead bridge yesterday (13 Jun) and was pronounced dead on scene by paramedics.
The incident took place at the overhead bridge between Blocks 125 and 128 Lorong Ah Soo.
The ah ma, Mdm Tan, had been staying with her sister at Block 128.
Mdm Tan was unmarried, and would often visit family members staying nearby.
Her family says they are shocked by the incident, and do not know how Mdm Tan came to fall off the bridge, or whether she had took her own life.
A passer-by said that at the time traffic along Lorong Ah Soo was busy, and the fall caused a jam.
Police have classified the case as one of unnatural death and investigations are in progress.
