Another Kopitiam outlet has come under the radar for unhygienic practices – this time the one in Block 279, Bukit Batok East Avenue 3.
A netizen uploaded this video to SgShare, saying that the stallholder mopped the floor, then washed her mop in the same sink which she uses to wash food.

I and my family have a lunch at this kopitiam was setting infront this stall selling kuay, I saw her mop the floor( this stall almost closed) suddenly she wash the mop in the small washing sink, before that i have see her used the sink to wash the food and now she wash the mop and the mop are very dirty and unsanitary. Oh My God.”

Kopitiam has been in hot soup recently, after staff at one its stalls in NUH was seen washing her shoes in the sink.
Following a huge public outcry, Kopitiam sacked the employee and issued an apology.
