A 33-year-old woman and one-year-old child were found dead at the foot of Block 35 Eunos Crescent yesterday afternoon.
A witness said that he heard a loud noise and saw that they had fallen from the building.
The baby was still wearing a diaper.
The incident took place at around 12.40pm.
The family are believed to to live in a 4th floor unit of the flat.
A neighbour, Mdm Chew, said that the family had moved in about one year ago.
The mother was said to be friendly and would greet her neighbours.
She was usually seen pushing the baby in a pram around the estate.
The baby, according to Mdm Chew, had “just started growing her baby teeth.”
Police say they do not suspect foul play.
