“Gay” MRT Ah Pek Says He has Depression and the Ang Moh Made “Strange Gay-Like Gestures” at Him First

71-year-old Mr Yan has a son and a daughter, so he’s far from gay.

The “gay” MRT ah pek who was arrested last Friday (21 Apr) for hitting an ang moh and asking him for gay sex while riding a train together says he had drunk more than usual that day and didn’t really know what he was doing when he disturbed Joe DeMarini.

“My right eye is blind, and I can only see through my left eye. That day I thought I saw him (DeMarini) make some strange gay-like gestures at me and it made me feel uncomfortable.”

Yan said he wanted to tell DeMarini to stop what he was doing, but he suffered an anxiety attack at the time, and that together with his drunkenness prompted his outburst.

“I don’t remember what the argument was about and what was said. what i said was likely due to anger and drunkenness. I’m already 70 over years old, where got energy to quarrel with young people?”

In other words, he didn’t really want to have sex with DeMarini there and then on the train.

Yan said he started suffering from depression around 2 years ago and has been seeing a psychiatrist and taking medicine.

But 2 weeks before the “train sex” incident, his condition took a turn for the worse due to family problems.

He says he has seen the video he starred in and is very sorry for his actions.
