In its latest report, Singapore think-thank, the Institute of Policy Studies, found that 53% of seniors age 50 and above bemoan a lack of opportunities for them in the current job market.
48 percent say there are no jobs suited to their qualifications and experience.
An overwhelming 90% of respondents are receptive to the idea of working after retirement.
But 60% believe employers prefer to hire younger workers.
The study by the Institute of Policy Studies covered over 2,000 people between the ages of 50 and 74 years.
