A 65-year-old man has been arrested, on suspicion that he vandalised the walls of HDB flats in TeckWhye. Police believe he committed at least 20 acts of vandalim on Tuesday (12Aug) at various HDB block in the area.
Police were alerted to the Uncle vandal at around 6,42am when reports came in that HDB blocks were defaced with marker ink. The walls and pillars of several blocks were defaced.
Police nabbed the Uncle vandal later that evening after going through CCTV footage. He can be jailed for up to 3 years, or fined up to $2000. He’ll be spared the rod, as only men below 50-years-old can be caned.
