A large tree branch fell and hit a Mercedes Benz car along Cairnhill Road at about 12.30pm today.
Surprisingly, it managed to severely dent the roof of the car and even pierce a hole in it.
If you’re wondering why the surprise, it’s because Mercedes cars tend to be built like war machines and look like they can take one hell of a beating.
Just like this horror AYE crash Mercedes, driven by a driver who said he was “possessed by God“, which destroyed 4 other vehicles in in its path and still kept running.
Or this Mercedes which kept its shape despite its driver trying to fly over the Braddell flyover.
You get the idea.
This afternoon’s Mercedes incident caused traffic congestion along Cairnhill Rd, but fortunately there were no casualties.
It’s unclear what caused the huge tree branch to fall.
NParks officers cleared up the debris by 2pm today.
