Lee Hsien Yang and Lee Wei Ling claim have launched an attack on parliament in their latest statement this morning, saying that the past 2 sessions held this week were one-sided and biased.
They said that despite providing part of the evidence backing their allegations that Big Bro Lee Hsien Loong had abused his power and practised nepotism, parliament chose to meet this with “hostility and denial” rather than question than prompt an independent investigation into the conduct of PM Lee.
“It is impossible for MPs to effectively question PM Lee, when his party controls almost all the seats in the house. No independent investigator has gathered evidence, interviewed other witnesses, or subpoenaed the government’s own records. As we pointed out before, Parliament is not the right forum for investigations of this nature.”
In Parliament, many spoke up to parrot Lee Hsien Loong’s attacks on Lee Kuan Yew’s will and on us. This entirely proves our point that Hsien Loong’s subordinates are beholden to him, and cannot be impartial judges of their own boss.”
Lee Hsien Yang and Dr Lee also condemned state media for one-sided reporting favouring PM Lee.
They said this backs their claim that “organs of the state” have been used against them.
Lee Hsien Yang has previously said that “organs of the state” have been used to spy on him, and that he feels threatened enough to leave Singapore with his family.

The Lee siblings said today that they have only provided part of the evidence backing their claims against PM Lee, and said they will produce more evidence once an independent investigation into the matter is convened.

The Lee Family Feud erupted after Lee Hsien Yang and Dr Lee Wei Ling produced a constant stream of allegations against PM Lee beginning in mid-June this year, claiming he had abused his position as prime minister to stop the demolition of 38 Oxley Road, allowed his wife Ho Ching to have undue influence over the civil service, and was trying to build a “family cult”.
They have denied allusions that they are trying to bring down the prime minister and gain financially from the tearing down of 38 Oxley Road.
They have also said that they had no choice but to fight the PM using social media, but say they will stop doing that for now and produce more evidence to an independent team of investigators looking into their allegations.
“We are private citizens with no political ambitions. Indeed, we are not politicians and do not have huge media teams to write for us. We have no unfiltered access to mainstream media, and are not savvy with social media. We have made a lot of mistakes along the way; please forgive us.”
