An Indonesian maid was found dead at the foot of Block 128A Punggol Field Walk yesterday morning.
Police officers at scene suspect she could have fallen to her death from the 16th floor of the block of flats.
A 59-year-old cleaner found her body and called the police at about 7.00am.
The maid was dressed in a black blouse and floral trousers.
The cleaner said he had started work at 6.30am, but he didn’t hear any loud sounds before he found the body a half hour later.
A friend of the maid wept as she identified her body, saying she was a friendly and kind person.
The case is being investigated.
