A man fell from the 11th floor of a HDB flat, landing on a clothes drying rack located at the ground floor of the building.
A neighbour said that he looked out of his apartment and saw the man, who was topless, hanging from the clothes rack.
The rack pierced through the man’s body, covering the area in blood.
Police and SCDF officers who arrived on scene used a white cloth to cover the gruesome scene from public view.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident happened last Friday (8 Sep) at Block 28 Toa Payoh Lorong 5.
A maid living on the 10th floor said she heard a moaning sound coming from the the unit above, then a loud crash after the man fell.
Police are investigating the incident.
