PAP Town Councils Raise Service and Conservancy Charges

Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) will be raised twice over the next 2 years across all PAP town councils.

This will affect all Housing Board residents, shops, offices, markets and food stalls in these areas.

Coordinating chairman for PAP town councils Lim Biow Chuan said that the S&CC hike was due to rising costs.

The first increase will take place on 1 July this year.

Fees will rise by between S$0.70 and S$7.90 for HDB flats.

Market and food stalls will have see increases of between S$2.20 and S$31.50.

Commercial property owners and tenants will face a fee hike ranging from S$0.01 to S$0.40 per sq m.

The next S&CC hike will come into effect on 1 July 2024.

Fees for HDB residents will be raised between S$1 and S$9.10

The increase for market and food stalls will range from S$2.20 and S$36.40.

Commercial property owners and tenants will face an increase of between S$0.02 and S$0.41 per sq m.

The last increase in S&CC took place in 2018.
