Furious that a lorry driver had the audacity to drive off after crashing into his car another another vehicle, this private-hire car driver gave chase on foot hoping to seek justice.
The incident took place last night at about 9.30pm at the junction of Ang Mo Kio St 44 and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10.
The lorry was reportedly travelling at a fast speed when it turned into Ang Mo Kio St 44, and that’s where it hit the PHV driver’s car that was parked alongside the road.
Then, the lorry veered off and hit another car, sending it crashing into a tree.
The driver of the car suffered injuries to the head and was later sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment.
The PHV driver, Mr Wang, said that his passengers and him were shocked by what happened.
He said that he got out of the vehicle (the man in black, pictured above) and pursued the lorry but gave up the chase after running for about 20 metres as the lorry driver had simply drove off.
Mr Wang said that he then checked on the other victim, and found that the victim was calling the police while bleeding from the head.
Police are investigating the incident.
