The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) has lodged a police report against the Chinese national embroiled in a tussle over a widow’s S$40 million assets.

The SCCCI said it is taking action against Mr Yang Yin for misrepresenting himself as the association’s director.

The SCCCI said it does not have any director or council member or member by the name of “Yang Yin”.

Mr Yang, a former tour guide, is embroiled in a legal battle for the assets of 87-year-old widow Chung Khin Chun. They met in 2008 when Madam Chung was on holiday in Beijing, and Mr Yang and his family later moved into her bungalow in Gerald Crescent, off Yio Chu Kang road.

Madam Chung’s niece, travel agency owner Hedy Mok, earlier this year started court proceedings to revoke Mr Yang’s guardianship of her aunt’s S$40 million assets.
