The crash injured 1 SCDF officer who was sitting in the Red Rhino.

Fortunately, he got away with just abrasions on his arms and legs.

The 69-year-old van driver wasn’t so fortunate – he complained of pain in his chest area and together with the injured SCDF officer was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Shortly after the accident, another crash took place just 10 metres away.

This time, a car smashed into the back of a taxi.

The female passenger in the car complained of giddiness and was sent to hospital.
