Some 26,000 Singaporeans and Permanent Residents filled Hong Lim Park in support of Pink Dot 2014. That’s 10 times more than the number of people that attended the first ever Pink Dot event in 2009, and a prominent show that the LGBT community is gaining more acceptance in a Singapore society more known for its prudence than openness.
