Full train services on the Bukit Panjang Light Rail Transit (BPLRT) are still down.
But train services in one direction have restarted, after the line was disrupted at Senja Station at 6pm yesterday.
SMRT is working to resume all train services on the BPLRT tomorrow.
In the meantime, free bus and bridging services will continue.
The Senja station fire broke out in the electrical room.
Preliminary SCDF investigations indicate that a tie-breaker overheated and caught fire.
No one was injured, and SCDF officers extinguished it using just one fire extinuguisher.
SMRT is still conducting its own investigation into the incident.
