Singapore Press Holdings has reached an out-of-court settlement not to sue the founders of local hate-site The Real Singapore for copyright infringement.
In return, they will have to pay SPH an undisclosed sum of money.
And, they had to publish this apology note:
SPH had claimed that TRS reproduced or substantially reproduced 244 of its news articles without its permission.
The copyright lawsuit arose after TRS founders Ai Takagi and her loverboy Yang Kai Heng were detained in Singapore for sedition.
They are alleged to have used the website to promote ill-will and hostility between different races or classes here.
That case is still on-going.
