A shocking accident yesterday between two taxis who appeared to be vying for one lane.

That contest left the losing taxi driver looking like this (picture above).

The accident took place at about 1pm, at the PIE exit at Adam Road.

A Comfort taxi was reportedly trying to cut into the lane of the SMRT taxi (the loser), and both cabs were inches apart.

Then, the Comfort taxi performed that all-important cut.

The move reportedly caused the SMRT taxi driver to lose control of his vehicle.

He crashed into a barricade and the impact resulted in his taxi turning turtle.

Two young female passengers and the taxi uncle managed to crawl out of the overturned cab, with no serious injuries apparent.

The young ladies were sent to hospital.

Police are investigating the incident.
