A simple left turn almost caused this driver his life, after a lorry crashed into his car from the rear.
The incident took place on Thursday (26 Aug) at about 1.15pm.
The driver was turning into the Midview Building at Bukit Batok St 23 he was hit by the lorry.
The impact caused the car to surge forward at a high speed.
It mounted the pavement and looked like it was about to topple 10 feet down into the basement of the building.
Fortunately, roadside barriers trapped the car and prevented it from going over the edge.
An eyewitness said there were 2 men and a lady in the car.
Others who were around stepped forward to help the accident victims, and they managed to climb out of the car.
