A flat in Woodlands has been sold for S$1.15 million, setting a record price for flats in that district.
The flat is reportedly a 1905 sqft jumbo flat, and is the most expensive HDB flat sold in a non-mature estate in July this year.
Another flat of the same size just 3 floors down at Block 816 Woodlands St 82 sold for S$930,000.
The Woodlands district has already seen a total of 17 million-dollar HDB flats change hands.
The first million-dollar HDB flat there was sold in May last year.
All these flats are jumbo units of at least 1,894 sqft, with the biggest flat measuring at 2,067 sqft.
Woodlands aside, Toa Payoh is also seeing more sales of million-dollar HDB flats.
In July, a 5-room Design, Build and Sell Scheme (DBSS) was sold for S$1.38 million, while another similar unit was sold for S$1.33 million.
A 4-rm flat at block 131A Toa Payoh Lorong 1 also set a new record, selling at S$1.1 million.
