Most global brands cost more in Singapore than other major capital cities in the world. Most of these items cost more by up to 20 percent.
That was the findings of a study done by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry. It studied more than 600 brands across 11 cities – amongst them, London, New York, Paris, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Some of the brands included in the study were Apple, Zara, and IKEA.
