The government launched 4428 BTO flats for sale on Tues (28Feb), and all eyes are now on the Prime Location Public Housing (PLH) developments in Kallang and Queenstown.
4-room flats in these locations cost from $439,000 and $496,000 with government grants.
PLH flats can only be sold after a Minimum Occupation Period of 10 years.
Still, that has not dampened interest from speculators looking to flip their flats after the MOP.
Seeing the surge in resale flats prices in recent years, many are hoping they can sell these PLH flats for over a million dollars in the future.
In January this year, a 4-room flat at Kallang was sold for S$1 mil.
Another 4-room flat in the area was sold, also for S$1 mil in 2022.
The most expensive resale flat is located at Queenstown’s SkyTerrace@Dawson, commanding a whopping S$1.4 million.
At least another 8 HDB flats in Queenstown sold for S$1 mil or close to that in 2022 alone.
