Dopamine, which is triggered by sex, provides a feeling of pleasure and is the reward system of the human brain.
Coming in third on the list of countries which have the least sex in the world, it’s little wonder than that Singaporeans are one of the unhappiest people in the world.
According to the Durex Sexual Well-being Global Survey, people in Singapore have sex on average 73 times a year.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to beat Japan to the top spot, at 45 times a year, to be crowned the country where residents have the least amount of sex.
A bit of comfort for spouses though – Singapore doesn’t rank amongst the most promiscuous countries in the world.
SOme of our neighbours who do rank high on that list include, the Philippines, New Zealand and Australia.
